Relayo vs n8n
Last updated: 2026-10-09
n8n is our favourite destination on this list. Self-hostable, fair-code, excellent for building exactly the workflow you want, and free if you run it yourself. Most Relayo users have an n8n instance somewhere.
The friction is that an n8n Webhook node is one URL, bound to one workflow, with separate test and production URLs — paste the test URL into the Meta dashboard and everything works until you close the editor. Point Meta at Relayo instead and n8n becomes one receiver among several: you can rebuild the workflow, switch it on and off, or break it entirely, and your CRM and confirmation tool keep receiving events. Anything n8n misses can be replayed from the Relayo log.
