Meta webhook payload inspector
One Meta webhook request is not one event. WhatsApp batches up to 100 changes into a single POST, and each change belongs to a different number or conversation. Paste a body to see what is actually inside it and what each change would route on.
Parsed locally in this tab. Payloads often contain customer phone numbers, so nothing is uploaded, stored or logged.
Why batching matters
If your handler treats one request as one lead or one message, a batch quietly drops
everything after the first change. The fix is to iterate
entry[].changes[], handle each one independently, and acknowledge the request
with 200 before doing slow work — Meta retries failures and eventually stops delivering to
endpoints that keep erroring.
More on splitting and routing batches in the WhatsApp webhook guide.
